What SyncTools does
Invoices
SyncTools takes Sales orders from linnworks either open or processed and creates invoices accordingly with the payment status, paid orders as paid invoice and unpaid orders as draft/awaited payment/awaited approval according to configuration.
Purchase orders/ bills
SyncTools takes delivered purchase orders from linnworks and creates purchase orders or bills according to configuration. Line items for purchase orders/bills will be ‘description only’. SyncTools does not sync Item code/SKU.
Grouped (Summarised) invoices
If you sell a lot of small ticket items, SyncTools can bulk the sales into marketplaces/ sources for each day rather than deal with each sale. It can be based on sub sources or counties and either of combinations too.

How to Connect Linnworks to Xero in 5 Steps
Connecting Linnworks to Xero with SyncTools takes under 25 minutes and requires no developer access.
Step 1 — Install SyncTools from the Linnworks App Store Go to Linnworks > Apps > App Store, find the SyncTools Xero connector, and install it. Installation must be done through the Linnworks App Store — direct sign-up on the SyncTools website is not available for the Linnworks integration.
Step 2 — Connect your Xero account In SyncTools, navigate to Accounting System → Xero. Complete the Xero OAuth flow. SyncTools reads your chart of accounts and tracking categories and pre-fills a recommended mapping.
Step 3 — Map Linnworks channels to Xero tracking categories and bank accounts Assign each Linnworks channel (Amazon UK, Amazon EU, eBay, own website) to a Xero tracking category and bank account so your Xero P&L shows revenue and profit by marketplace.
Step 4 — Choose individual or grouped invoice sync Select individual sync (one Xero invoice per Linnworks order) or grouped sync (one invoice per source per day) for stores processing more than 6,000 orders/month.
Step 5 — Run your first sync and verify Click Sync Now. Linnworks orders post to Xero as invoices with the correct status. Check the SyncTools sync log and verify invoices appear in Xero’s Accounts Receivable.
