How to Connect WooCommerce to Oracle NetSuite in 5 Steps
Connecting WooCommerce to Oracle NetSuite with SyncTools takes under 20 minutes and requires no developer access.
Step 1 — Install SyncTools and connect your WooCommerce store Install the SyncTools plugin from the WooCommerce marketplace or connect via API key. Grant the required permissions so SyncTools can read your WooCommerce orders, refunds, and transaction data.
Step 2 — Connect your Oracle NetSuite account In SyncTools, navigate to Accounting System and select Oracle NetSuite. Enter your NetSuite Account ID and configure a dedicated integration role with the required permissions. SyncTools reads your chart of accounts, subsidiaries, and department mappings.
Step 3 — Map WooCommerce transaction types to NetSuite accounts Assign each WooCommerce transaction type to the correct NetSuite account: gross sales → Sales Revenue, gateway fees → Merchant Fees, shipping collected → Shipping Income, discounts → Sales Discounts, refunds → Sales Returns, and taxes → Sales Tax Payable. SyncTools pre-fills a recommended account mapping.
Step 4 — Choose summarized or individual sync mode Select summarized sync (daily journal entries — ideal for high-volume stores) or individual sync (one record per order — best for detailed reporting). Both modes produce a bank deposit that reconciles in one click.
Step 5 — Run your first sync and verify in NetSuite Click Sync Now. WooCommerce transaction data posts to Oracle NetSuite automatically. Check the SyncTools sync log for any errors, then verify that the posted entries appear correctly in Oracle NetSuite with the right account mapping.

FAQs
How does this WooCommerce-NetSuite integration work?
SyncTools connects to your WooCommerce store via the WooCommerce REST API and your NetSuite account via the NetSuite SuiteScript API. It reads every WooCommerce transaction — sales, fees, refunds, and taxes — and posts each to the correct NetSuite account automatically, without CSV exports or manual journal entries.
How long does it take to integrate and set up WooCommerce with NetSuite? Will you help me with configuring my account or do I need to do it all by myself?
As an Ecommerce accounting expert, the process normally takes 15 to 30 minutes to get your account syncing done. Our team will help you to configure your account and ensure that it is properly synced. You won’t need to worry about setting up your account yourself – we’ll take care of everything for you.
Please feel free to contact us at sales@synctools.ai if you have any questions or require additional support.
Do i need to take a trial with my live NetSuite account or can i try this with NetSuite sandbox also?
No, You don’t need to connect your live account for a trial if you don’t want to. Yes, you can use the NetSuite sandbox also and test the system.
Does SyncTools support COGS synchronization to NetSuite?
Yes. SyncTools syncs WooCommerce product cost data to NetSuite as COGS line items — either per order or in summarized batches. Each sale posts gross revenue to your income account and the corresponding COGS to a dedicated expense account, giving you accurate gross margin in your NetSuite P&L. COGS sync requires that product costs are set in WooCommerce before the order syncs.
Does this WooCommerce NetSuite integration support summarized sales synchronization as i don’t want the individual orders to sync to NetSuite?
Yes. SyncTools supports summarized sales sync to NetSuite on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis — posting a single journal entry per period instead of one entry per order. Ideal for high-volume WooCommerce stores where individual order entries would clutter NetSuite. Gross sales, fees, refunds, and taxes are still mapped to separate NetSuite accounts in summarized mode.
What are the entities i can synchronize from WooCommerce with the help of SyncTools?
You can synchronize customers, products, billing and shipping addresses, and sales orders as an invoice with sales order line items SKU, price, description, tax rate, discount, etc…, classes, refunds as credit memo or refund receipt, customer payment as payment, purchase orders as purchase order or bill and raise a vendor credit in NetSuite.
What about historical data? Can you sync that too?
Yes, historical data can be synced with additional cost under the STANDARD & PLUS plan.
Is my financial data secure with the integration?
Yes, This WooCommerce NetSuite connector uses secure and encrypted data transfer protocols to ensure the safety and security of your financial data.
What happens to my customer data? Will it be safe with your system? How do you ensure the safety and confidentiality of my customer data while it's being synced between WooCommerce and NetSuite?
We take the security and privacy of your customer data seriously. Our system securely transfers data between WooCommerce and NetSuite without storing any of your data on our servers. We redact personally identifiable information to further protect your customer’s privacy. You can trust that your customer data is safe with us.
